Jenny Skerker Awarded a 2023 TomKat Graduate Fellowship!
Congratulations to PhD candidate Jenny Skerker who was recently named a 2023 TomKat Graduate Fellow for Translational Research! Jenny was one of four awardees selected for the 2023 fellowship year. Awarded fellows represent advanced doctoral students at Stanford whose research aims to address challenges related to energy and resource sustainability. The fellowship programs seeks to help advance fellows’ research projects towards real-world, impact driven applications.
Jenny’s research seeks to advance current water utility decision support tools by explicitly incorporating household level equity and environmental justice principles. Her research will further enhance understanding of how water infrastructure investments and policy measures can be coordinated to manage long term climate change impacts while supporting household level water affordability and sustainability goals.
