Prof. Fletcher presents a TEDX-style talk

In April, Professor Fletcher presented a TEDX-style talk at this year’s Faculty Forum held by the new Doerr School of Sustainability at Stanford University. This year, a total of nineteen different faculty members in the School of Sustainability presented their research and findings in a live TEDX-style talk. The talks covered a range of topics related to sustainability including managing oceans, biodiversity, batteries, fuel sources, groundwater, glaciers, and sustainable adaptation. By omitting strong jargon in their talks, each speaker’s 16 minute talk aimed to be accessible for a general audience.
