PhD candidate Jenny Skerker presents at EWRI 2023

 

PhD candidate Jenny Skerker recently presented at the Environmental and Water Resources Institute’s (EWRI) World Environmental and Water Resources Congress (May 21-24) in Henderson, Nevada!

Her oral presentation, titled “Operationalizing household affordability in urban water supply planning models,” was part of the May 24th conference session on Social Equity in Water & Environmental Systems Planning and Management and was moderated by David E. Rheinheimer from the Colorado River Board of California. She presented her ongoing research on the development a decision-support tool to explicitly incorporate household affordability metrics into utility-level water supply planning to improve the understanding of distributional equity implications for water supply planning under climate change.
